SLIM believes that the local church and local organizations are in the best position to assess and address the spiritual, physical, and healthcare needs in their community. SLIM, a Registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization, partners with churches, shelters, community centers, government agencies, ministries, schools and clinics to provide whatever resources and services are needed to disrupt four major poverty impacts in our communities: generational poverty, the poverty-to-prison pipeline, poor health outcomes associated with poverty, and most importantly, spiritual poverty.
