The human services sector in the USA emerged as a faith-based initiative hundreds of years ago to respond to the needs of poor communities to disrupt this poverty-to-prison pipeline. Centuries later, we all know that Departments of Human Services cannot disrupt this cycle alone – they need you and I, local community organizations, to link arms with them to interrupt this pipeline!
